RJ Jenkins, Maine native, local artist and teacher visited FCS Wednesday, March 9th, and shared his book with students. He presented A Visit to the Bahamas from A to Z to students and discussed how a book is made and the different forms of artwork he used to create the illustrations. The students were very inquisitive! RJ is an art teacher at Kents Hill School and enjoys creating art whenever time permits. He presented a signed copy to the FCS library. He especially enjoys encouraging young artists to create art whenever they can. Thank you Mr. Jenkins!
